It has been remodeled and several rooms have betm added, there now being twenty-two furnished rooms and apartments for rent in the house. A new foundation baa teen placed under the structure and it ha been repainted. Minich & Winters are now remodel ing the Rert King residence. A new roof hi been put on it and it will be otherwise improved. Bales & Erskine and Frank Hoyd, contractors, have thu contract for the construction of the new fair buiHii.gs which will be bnilt on the grounds leased from the I Ry. Th'se buildings will R & N. cost some $2,000. Among other buildings which hav lately been constructed is the uew gar age owned by Chas. Kennedy, built of cement, 30x70. This garage is located on .Icoud Ave. East near the Tilla mook Creamery and is nov doing fine business. Another good building to be con structed is the new Headlight office building on First street. This is a cement structure. Architect Stranahan is now con structing on his property on Third Street a fine California bungalo. This home is different in appearance than the ordinary bungalo, having a flatter roof. It is modern in all its appoint ments and will certainly make a fine home. Mr. Stranahan is a architect, and he has made many of the new buildings been built here. I'. J. Rrown is building a first class dence on his property on Cth Street and Cth Ave. East. This house will have 8 rooms and bath and will havu all modern conveniences. ' -, A.
