TrKSDAV MA V Ut, 191k CLEAN-UP CONTEST ON COMMUNICATION Editor Herald . In the last issue of the TillatneiA Headlight there is an editorial comment on the wte for Con ity Commissioner of Kocfcitwuy, Wheeler. Xehaleui and Foley Precincts, that calls attention to the -ote ct for the two candida'es Sappington and Thompson, and to what the vote means. Now 1 wish to call the attention of the voters of Tillamook County to another analysis of this rote that 1 am sure Mr. Baker would not likely point out. and that is the vote , of Wheeler and Nehalem towns that Mjn.ijm? t.n U a new profess are incorporated. We can trace most of our road troubles up here to the intluence ami work of those livinsr in thee towns who have real estate to ?ll, the result is that roads that are a necessity are delayed or not built at all, and money has been spent in a way that was watfal and on roads where it was not needed, and the dairymnp up here understood this better than others who do not live here, and we can give fact; if necessary to back our We are all in favor of trood roads but tstratUw of town huines in the hand) of a business manager, and their example seems likely to de fol lowed widely in this state.
