building at the J'anama-Pecifie Expo
sition. -The lumber mills of 'he county
have agreed to furnish all th needed
wooden material, the railroads will
transport it to California free of
charge, and the County Court and the
citizens are expected to provide the
necessary funds about 515,000 to pay
for the collecting and installing the
exhibit.
The Salem Cherrv Fair will be held
June 25-27 inclusive. It has been decid
ed to hold the show on the Co.irt
House grounds, and that in addition to
cherries, there will be exhibits of small
fruits.
