For the purpose of making the Investigation of the Deschutes Land Company's project in Crook county, authorized by a resolution passed by the desert land board, when the company was given 30 days' ex tension of time on its contract with the state, which expires April 1, State Knglneer Lewis left for Crook county Monday.
