for two men and one boy. The last
lap of the relay race was just being
completed when one rider failed to
get mount, and the horse broke loose,
ran into the crowd standing on the
inside of the track watching the race.

cut mouth and face besides minor
bruises. F. M. Kelly, owner of the

received a badly wrenched shoulder
and other minor scratches.
