of the Pacific coast rescue and protec­
tive society, spent a few days in
Tillamook this week obtaining sub­
scriptions for the upkeep of the
homes for the unfortunate people
who are cared for in the Albertina
Kerr nursery home and Louise home
for girls. The former institution car­
ed for 184 destitute babies during the
year 1923, eighteen counties of the
state being represented, and the
Louise home took care of 173 girls,
from twenty one counties of the state
for the same year.
