tjeed in the Jetty creek road, The
state highway commission and the
Southern Pacific company are still
conferring on this project; and there
it stands.
Very little wrok will be done on the
Ganualdi road <vn.ii the exception of
maintenance to keep the road in pass
able condition.
The Mohler to Clatsop county road
is now all completed and has now
been turned over to the state for
maintenance, so that the county is re
lieved from all cost on this project.
The Hebo to Neskowin road has also
been completed and turned over to
the state highway commission.
The county court will insist on a
survey of the Trask river route, it
was announced yesterday, when con
struction is given to a shorter road
to the Willamette valley. The Wil
son route has already been partly sur
veyed and it is to be determined
which of the two proposed routes will
will be the most feasible.
Strong
pressure is being brought to bear on
the county authorities to get some
thing started on a shorter way to
Portland and other valley points.
