Miller of Garibaldi was picked up and arraigned before the Justice of the peace on a charge of possession of liquor He plead not guilty, and a trial resulted in his conviction. While his attorneys were perfect ing an appeal, Miller changed his mind and plead guilty. He was fined $150 and the costs of the trial. He was paroled on agreement to pay $25 per month until the score was wiped out, but defaulted after the first pay ment, and faded aw’ay like the fog before a sunburst. Last summer he was again picked up for violation of the terms of his parole. He was giv en more time to fulfill his obligations, but again vanished into the night. Again he was ordered into custody.
