Section 49. Notice of Dismantling
and Transfer of Engine.—Before any
person, firm or corporation shall
wreck, dismantle or dissemble any
motor vehicle, or substantially alter
the form thereof, such person, firm o-

ing upon forms to be furnished by
the secretary of state, of the inten-
tion so to do to the chief of police or
marshal of the city or town in which
such work is to be done, or if such
