Pomona grange of this county will
meet in the hall of Nestucca grange
on September 8th. next. At this time
and during the open meeting hour, a
debate has been staged to occur in
which Mrs. Dora Daniels and Dolph
Tinnerstet will be the principals, with
aid from other members of the grange
as the spirit moves them. The sub­
ject while not definitely worded will

tricts and the transportation of child­
ren to and from a central district and
other matters pertaining to the wel
fare of the rising generation, it is
believed that a number of teachers
will be present on this occasion, in­
cluding County Superintendent Geo. If
