Maxwell Point
The Oregon Coast Line offers a diversity of scenery
that is unexcelled, and Oceanside offers to vacationists
and tourists the maximum of all that could be desired in
opportunity and enjoyment—that here are found in amaz
ing profusion, beauty and grandeur. Stretches of smooth
beach aro mhde more beautiful by great rocks and jutting
cliffs, teeming with bird life—all creating an ensemble
which makes Oceanside attractive, especially in the sum
mer time, for the weather is always cool, invigorating and
healthful. And it is to the Oregon Coast that the people
of the State, and other states, flock to spend tiieir sum
mer vacations with their families. It is at one of these
beautiful and all-inspiring spots on the Oregon Coast that
Oceanside is situated, and where the vacationist and tour
ist can spend their summer outings in perfect contentment
with the assurance that their health will be wonderfully
improved by h few weeks’ sojourn at this most attract ve
seaside resort overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Tillamook county has some wonderfully pretty interest
ing beaches, which are becoming more attractive to tour
ists and vachtionists^Oceanside stands out pre-eminently
as one of the best, for it embraces most charming and
interesting attractions for those who delight to investigate
the mysteries of the mighty ocean, and the rocks hnd caves
that abound there. It contains grassy and wooded slopes
springs and creeks, ragged gorges, high pinnacles, awsome
cliffs overlooking the ocehn, making it an ideal place to
build a summer home for the family to spend its vacation

Butting out into the ocean is Maxwell Point, and it is
from this commanding location that some wonderful
scenery, that chnnot be duplicated anywhere, may be
riewed, presenting a most fascinating coast line picture.
Directly in front of Maxwell Point are the Three Arch
Rock3, commonly known as Seal Rocks, just off shore,
which is a government bird preserve, inhabited at all times
by thousands of water fowl. Another great attraction at
this point are the sea lion that crawl upon the lower parts
of the rocks in great numbers, it is one of the very few
places on the Oregon coast where these sea mammals can
be seen hnd heard by the ordinary person.
Words can hardly explain the splendid scenic view from
Maxwell point, and one wonders why so few person shave
visited this charming spot on the Oregon coast. No vis
itor to Oregon should go away without taking h trip to
Tillamook county and behold its scenic wonders. What
have always been a wonder to visitors are the chves north
of Maxwell Point, which in previous years could only be
reached at extreme low tide. To obviate this, Maxwell
Point is now beir.g tunnelled
U htit, however, has always been a pleasant feature in
visitmg this part of the coast, is the abundance of sea food
to be obtained—crabs, clams, mussels, and fish.
On the North of OceanBide, Cage Mehrs Light Station
is situated, built on the rugged cosat. 300 feet above the
surf, being an exceptionally interesting and attractive
«pot.

Chiropractic is fast becoming America’s favorite
mode of healing. Millions are daily receiving
adjustments—and few indeed are the diseases
which do not readily respond to its rational ap
plication.
It does not claim to cure, but it does assist na
ture buck to normal by lifting the pressure from
off impinged nerves—thus permitting them to
go on their unhindered work again.
Through Chiropractic adjustments many who
were blind, can see; those once deaf, again re
stored to hearing; those who for years have
been on crutches, find themselves needing them
no longer; while multitudes suffering from ner
vous dieases can again slumber like a child.
Under Chiropractic adjustments stomach and
'•ver troubles, headache and constipation disap
pear as if by magic; while fevers leave without
making their accustomed lengthy stay, and
many whose cases have been considered hope’
less are enjoying health again with those whose
.-pan has been far lengthened beyond three
score and ten.
Go where you will, these facts are in evidence.
Ask any one who has tried Chiropractic thoroly
and they will enthusiastically tell youu this and
more.
