Friday, May i THE TILLAMOOK HEADLIGHT Page Five COMMUNITY Ask your neighbor about his Special-Six LOCAL PENINO.. r Mart. Gruber, for some months the clerk at the Tillamook hotel has quit his position to reopen the old Trask road house, together with Mr. Barnes. He is succeeded by Mr. Grant Mills, who was clerk at the Tillamook some three years ago. Mr. Mills is well known here, and at one time was in the grocery business in this city, and therefore Is no stranger to the people of Tillamook. A. F. Coates went out to Port land Thursday to meet his wife and daughter of Seattle. Mrs. Coates and daughter will remain a few weeks as guests at the Tillamook hotel. The SPECIAL-SIX should be the best car in the world for the money—and it is! It’s the sum of great engineering and manufactur ing resources—millions of dollars in factories and machinery, and 70 years oj manufacturing experience With these resources concentrated exclusively on the building of six- cylinder cars, it is no longer won der that Studebaker produces a car of such intrinsic vaulue as is repre sented by the SPECIAL-SIX. Tt is the Studebaker policy of giv ing the greatest dollar-for-dollar value that has built its business from a modest beginning to its present position as the world’s lar gest builder of six-cylinder cars. We urge you to see the SPECIAL- SIX—drive it, put it to any test. Ask your neighbor’s opinion of his Studebaker. Compare it with any other car within hundreds of dollars of its price. Then you will know why it is the most popular motor car on the market today. No wonder every Studebaker sells another Light-Six No car is better than its chassis No chain is stronger than its weak Some of the guages used in Stude est link—no car it better than its baker inspection are accurate to one half of one-thousandth of an chassis! T. R. Pollock, superintendent at the Trask hatchery, was in the city Friday. He reports that everything is running smoothly at the hatchery, and that thousands of young fish are growing up to a point where they will soon be able to take to the river, and later begin their pilgrim age to the sea. It seems a strange thing that they are able to recollect enough to return to the river In which they were first liberated, when grown and ready to spawn.
