MBS. EDITH L. KING
Edith L. Perkins, daughter of
Myron and Emma Perkins, was born
in Tillamook, Oregon, March 21,
1881, and departed this life April
2, 1922, aged 41 years and 11 days.
She grew to womanhood on a
farm near Tillamook, and receive
her education in this county, and
before her marriage taught several
terms of school.
On October 1, 1899, she was unit­
ed in marriage to Burton E. King
of Tillamook. To this happy union
were bbrn two sons, both of whom
survive her. In the year 1902 she
was happily converted to God un­
der the labors of Robert Pierce, at
Ashland, Oregon, and a short time
afterward was sanctified whiolly,
and ever after testified to the prec­
ious grace of full salvation.
Shortly after her conversion, she
united with the Nazarene church,
and remained a consistent and earn­
est worker until called to join the
church triumphant.
Her Illness was short, and she was
a great sufferer, but was patient,
and evidenced afirm trust in Christ
whom she had loved and served for
