PET BEAR CUB IS FONO
OF A BATTLE WITH CAI
From a Bride:

Web Elliott of this city has a pet
neat cub which is aboui three
months old. Elliott was out hunt

hounds began sniffing and digging
near thè spot, soon unearthing two
cubs under a big stump. The pet
was the only one that survived, and
has become a household pet.
It
c« rries the household cut around in
its mouth quite often until puss
gets mad, and then there is a battle
royal, in which the bear holds its
own.
The cub answers to the name
of Jack, and takes milk from a bot
tle several times a day. with great
relish. “It would take a good sized
wad of greenbacks to buy that cub
bear,” so Web states.
