the Tillamook and Sunset garages, have been
forced into the hands of a receiver and have
made a very serious financial failure.

successfully launched last Saturday
and took the water like a duck The
machinery will be installed in the

Dr. W. C. Hawk of Bay City, ac­
companied by his wife and son-in
law, while on his way to Garibu'fli
late Saturday night was crowded off
the grade near Barview by an auto,
the driver who was known.

holding onto the car which was al­
most ready to fall down the grade
to the railroad track below, until
assisted by other autoicls, a grave
accident was averted. Ths car was

continued without further trouble.

Sheriff Aschlm went out to Port­
land Wednesday to bring back Del
Milligan, charged with larceny by
bailee. Milligan was taken in cust­
ody the day previous on a warrant
sworn to by David Martiny of this
place. It is reported that Milligan
bought a car front Martiny about
two years ago, making a small pay­
