Age 8 years, fresh 2 months. Months record milk: 1599 bls. Fat: 97.54 lbs. • Five unprofitable cows were dis­ posed of during the month. Seven pure bred cows and heifers were pur­ chased by members at a sale of Jer­ seys. One more pure bred bull was added to a herd. There artì forty eight members in the association now and forty seven of them are using pure bred sires. Figures show that feeding some grains pay in the long nin asrthe grain fed herds are holding out well whiL t’lose not receiving grain feed have dropped heavily in production the last two weeks. One of the best roeords of the association has been -made by Princess a pure bred Holstein owned by A. J. Rogers. This covw completed her years test this month with 573 lbs. fat to her credit.
