There la said to be a good run of fish. Mrs. R. Merryman of Klamath Falls and Mrs. M. Plttenger of Hills- boro, who are spending the season at Rockaway, were visitors at the Dr. Pollock and Guild homes last Satur day. Dr. Wise of Barview reports that there are about 500 people at the Barview resort, and that the attend­ ance at this time equals that of last year. Travel has picked up this week considerably, and many people ate coming in by rail. Over at Netarts the cottages are pretty well filled up. and the tent houses are also in daily demand. From 700 to 800 people are at the camp now. Low tides in the morn­ ing are ruling this week, and the beach is thronged with the viators, clamming and fishing.
