threshed out at the association meet­
ings, so that each member may prof­

It is expected that in the near fu-
ture only high grade bulls will be per-

range, each member paying a service
fee prorated according to the number
of cows he turns out on the range.
The work of the Forest Service in
organizing these local associations
has led to the forming of a county
Stock Growers Assn., with which all
these local associations are affiliated.
The District Forester says that the
Forest Service has been instrumental
in organizing over sixty stock grow­
ers associations
in
Oregon and
Washington, which ha-.e been recog­
nized under National Forest reputa­
tions and are now actively co-oper­
ating with the Forest officers in their
efforts
and
range
