“The Master Hand" is based on the
play of the same name by Carroll
Fleming. Nat C. Goodwin is the
“good angel” of the story—a big-

whose mission in life seems to be to
straighten out other people's troubles

“The Master Hand” is a clever pro

acting, and many thrilling and ex

this
picture, which will surely please, in

audience nowaday* when the demand
in feature films is for modern theme*
of sustained interest. See this at the

Mr. Vincent, the receiver of the
Potter Realty Co., appeared before
the County Court on Wednesday and
made a proposition to complete the
Bayocean road for $2G,000, and
would put up a bond to that effect.
He made two offers, One was that
the $18,000 now on hand should be
used, and $8,000 provided in the
next budget, and the other to take
$13,000 and provide $13,000 in the
next budget. The County Court made
arrangements with Mr. \ inccnt to go
over the road next Friday, as Com
missioner McKimens is of the opin

be obtained.
