widened, for there is as much, if not
more, tra vol over it than on any road
in the county. It bus often sup-

so long. Should an accident occur
there the county would be liable to
damages, and this would cost prob
ably a dozen times as much as it
would to fix the road.

bility, whenever the authority is
placed in the hand of a city, the
highest possible levy is made. What
we want to see avoided is makingthe
taxes ho high that it will drive
away people who would start in

matter that the revisers should not
loose sight of.
