neer and what would I k the cost! of run
ning his office or in running inrveys .
These are a few things we have not dis-
cussed up to the present time, for we fee
confident that even those who advocate
the change should be more fully inform
ed. Noone wants to fotee another offi
cial upon the county unles- it can be
shown conclusively that it is a matter of
public economy to do so. and w here bet
ter and more permanent results can be
obtained. The court has plenty of time
to deliberate, aud by way ul experiment
it has been suggested that the court em
ploy an engineer to survey, plan out and
give an estimate ol cost to lay out a
new road from the new bridge which is
to be built across the Tillamook river to
Netarts.
Although the Headlight is
strongly in lavor of an engineer, we feel
confident that the court will do the right
thing, but give them plenty of time to
deliberate, for nothing can be gained bv
forcing the matter to an issue right
away.
B. McKinley will be on the grounds at
Lake Lytle throughout the day next Sunday to
show prospective purchasers lots and quote
prices.
Remember that Lake Lytle is positively the
only resort in Tillamook County with depot
guaranteed by the P. R. & N. R. R. Co.
Mr. McKinley will point out the exact spot
where the depot will be located. Accompanyingeach
purchase is a guarantee to the establishment and
maintainence of depot and daily passenger service.
Garibaldi beach is destined to become what
the California and Atlantic beaches are. Why
not avail yourself of the opportunity to get in on
the ground floor.
Lots at Lake Lytle to be had of
