who walked went down the hill to the
lighthouse, a muddy lot after their walk
over the muddy road across Cape
Meare». A party of boys, on reluming
home, struck through the salal brush
down to a small stream, w hich they fol-
lowed to its mouth. They were amazed
to find tie water at the mouth of the
creek falling over a bank about twenty
feet high into the ocean. So they toiled
up the hill and went down the next
creek which they followed to the beach.
After spending two hours looking at the
beautiful things on tlie beach, they
started.

The school enjoyed a fine lecture on
Tuesday by Mr. Knodell, the Secretary of
the Anti Saloon League. Ilis subject
was " The Mau With a Vision,” He
pointed out the fact that most men who
have become great
were men with
visions—visions of some kind of per
fection which they wished to become
or to accomplish. He urged the neces
sity of young jieople having a vision of
what they wish to become in the future,
that they may become men and women
sound in mind, soul and body.
