repaid. Rev. Williams, of Beaver, gave
a short discourse in the forenoon taking
” the Resurrection” as his theme. Then
followed a very enjoyable season (es­
pecially to the " old backs’’ who weie

hour. Baskets, pails, pans and boxes
all contributed their savory contents to
fill the three long tables with toothsome
daintiea. After an hour and a half spent

pleasant social intercourse, the
audience was called to order by the
stirring notes of a bugle call, played by
Mr. Frank Bennett, who also assisted in
a number of the songs with the
trumpet. The exercises beginning at
two o’clock, with a song service con­
sisted of Easter carols, songs and recita­
tions by the children, young and old,
selected reading, etc. A vocal solo by
Mr. Frank Bennett was applauded.
