Sheriff Crenshaw collected $108,813 39
in taxes, all of which have been turned
over to the county treasurer, leaving
$16.799.40 to be collected on the 1907
assessment roll, which amounted to
$125.712 79. This is the largest amount
of taxes ever collected in this county,
and the manner in which the taxes were
collected speaks well for the sheriff's
office.
