left Nehalem on Friday for Astoria, had
1000 cases of salmon on board for S.
Elmore & Co , and had in tow a raft of
spruce logs, containing about 150,000ft.
The steamer W. H. Harrison came in
from Astoria on Tuesday with freight, in
the place of the Sue H. Elmore, which is
under repairs in Portland. She is not
carrying passengers, having no license to
do so.
