have failed to comply with the provision
of the Illinois anti trust act, recently
upheld by the Supreme Court, requiring
an annual affidavit to the effect that the
corporations have not entered into a
pool, trust or combine. Accompanying
the list of names is a letter of instruction
from the Attorney. Genera I requesting the
State’s Attorney to proceed according to
the provisions of the anti-trust act. The
act of the Attorney Genera I will be fol
lowed by the furnishing of lists of delin-
quent corporations and recover tl»e pen
alty provided by law. The penalty fixed
by statute it $50 per dav, and, at these
corporations have lieen delinquent for
five or six months, they are each liable
toa fine of $8000 or $10,000.
