Hitt, from the committee on foreign
affairs presented a resolution which,
after reciting the fact that peace has
been established in South Africa, calls
upon the Secretary of State for a com
plete list of American citizens now de
tained as prisoners of war in South
Africa, and for information as to what
action is being taken to secure their
release. The resolution was adopted
without division.
