he needs no introduction at our hands,
while the bride is an estimable young
lady and much respected. We add our
congratulations to that of their friends
in wishing them happiness.
The coming of the Meneley Quartette,
of Chicago, will probably give the people
of Tillamook county an opportunity of
hearing as talented entertainers as can be
found in the United States, They expect
to be at Tillamook City on the evening'
of the 27th inst. ; at Beaver. May 28th ;
Bay City, 29th ; and at Nehalem, 30th.
The Dalles (Otegon) Daily Chronicle says
of them ; “It beats all the circuses and
minstrels and comedies we haveever wit
nessed. It was more than an entertain
ment, it was a sermon, and a sermon
that will long be remembered. Tickets
can be bad for the entertainment at Till
amook City at the restaurant of Miss
Lottie Freeman, at the store of Isaacs &
Bromlev, the store of Edmunds & Co.,
and of Mrs. Carey in the east part of
town. Reserved seat tickets will be for
sale at the office of T. H. Goyne.

day, will be about the same as two years
ago. Up to yesterday afternoon the
