Some of the Portland people who have
visited the Tillamook Creamery Com
pany’s factory in this city the past week
or so have expressed their surprise at
the growth of the dairy industry in this
county, and it is amusing to see their
eves bug out when they behold the pro
duct of that factory, for there are nearly
3000 cheese, weighing about 331bs.

maker at this factory, and also those of
other factories, for the courteous manner
in which they receive visitors and explain
to them the process in the manufacture
of cheese.
