Mr. H. O. Miles, from Woods, was in the city on Tuesday and gave us a call. Mr. Abe Cohn went out on the Harri son Sunday on a business trip to Port land. Mr. Len Hiner is building a blacksmith and repair shop in the rear of Cren shaw’s store. Cary still loads shells to order. Conder, of Hebo, a bunch of cat tle for $1,200 on Monday. Messrs. C. E. Bryan and Geo. Vander- hoof, from Lafayette, cattle buyer«, are registered at the Allen house. H all , proprietor. Mr. Hendricks and family, from Con don, Giljian county, was in Tillamook on Sunday. They have come to this county to locate at Bay City. Rev. R. E. Dunlap is conducting a series of revival meetings at the M.E. church each evening, to which he extends an earnest invitation to all to attend. Mrs. Ridehalgh and son, of Garibaldi, Mr. Dan Nickels and Mr. Bates, an in surance agent, started for Narth Yam hill in one of Bacon & McNamer’s rigs on Tuesday. Mr. C. E. Reynolds will open his new skating rink at the Opera house on Sat urday evening, when it will be free to ali. The brass band will rendered a number of selections. Rev. Father J. Schell left for Portland on Tuesday to attend the funeral servi- vices of the late Archbishop W. H. Gross, who died at Baltimore, Md., on Monday. The archbishop paid Tillamook a visit last summer. A night school was opened on Monday evening at the academy, which is exclu sively for boys and young men. About twelve put in an appearance the first evening.
