A petition wns presented by Cnpt. J.
J Dawson anil of tiers asking for a
change of (lie main road between Till«-
niook City «ml Bay City at a point where
the said road cuts tluougli Mr Dawson’s
land. Mr. Dawson had completed the
new road desired at hie own expeime and
placed it in good condition
The court
found that lite petition was properly
signed and tlie law in all respects com­
plied with and it was therefore ordered
that the petition be granted and that
W. N. Vaughn, W. B. Aiderman, and
E Jacoby be appointed viewers of the
roail and A. M. Austin was appointed
to survey it, according to law.
A E. Lucy was granted a license to
operate a ferry across the Big Nestuccn
River at the town of Woods, «nd it was
ordered that upon the payment of the
sum of »1.00 and the filing ot an under­
