OLD FASHIONED BIRTHDAY
PARTY
Mrs. O. B. Bentson entertained a
number of youug friend« at her home
on Water Street last Monday evening,
the occasion being Miss Nellie Cavend­
er’s birthday. The jolly crowd com­
peted in a millinery contest and Mr.
Arthur Dahl won the first prize for
having trimmed the most stylish hat,
and Miss Marie Jones received the
second prize for the next best trimmed
hat. Other games were enjoyed until
a late hour, when Hot Cakes and Cof­
fee were served and a general good
