“The Liberator,” of Magnolia, Ark. I
take The Citizen, The Menace and The
Peril. I feel that all the patriotic pa­
pers should be aided and encouraged.
A movement is in process for start­
ing a [taper at Washington, D. C., to
be ca'led the "National Sentinel.” Gen­
eral Miles was here last week in at­
tendance on a G. A. R. banquet. He
made a ringing speech. The next day
he was interviewed by a friend in be­
half of the “National Sentinel.” The
general gave him $15 and expressed
deep concern over the aggressiveness
of the Romish hierarchy and their
dam able spirit. Among other things
