April 27, 2011
Terry Lynn Weaver, who was an employee, friend and family member of
Banks Hardware passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
Terry worked at Banks Hardware after school and most summers during his
childhood years and most of his adult life. Terry was much more than an em-
ployee, manager and family member at the store. He was an integral part of
Banks Hardware for many, many years. While working retail can be a little
challenging at times, Terry always greeted everyone with the same smile and
was determined to have them find what they were looking for before they left
the store. Banks Hardware was fortunate to have Terry behind the counter and
at the helm doing his part in keeping this little small town hardware store
going! Terry is truly missed; not only by all of us at Banks Hardware, and his
family, but by the entire community, many of whom he greeted as they en-
tered the store.
The Weaver Family, Terry’s extended family and all of us at Banks Hardware
encourage you to join us this coming Saturday, May 7th, at the American Le-
gion Hall in Banks, from 2-5:00 PM to help us celebrate his life. We would also
like to take this time to thank everyone for their kind and caring remarks con-
cerning Terry, both before and after his passing. Knowing that so many peo-
ple cared for Terry was very comforting, especially to our family. We hope to
see you this Saturday!
