2. The purpose of the hearing
is to consider the application of
West Oregon Electric for a Major
Map Amendment and Zone
Change from Rural Residential
(RR-5) to Community Service-
Utility (CSU) and a Site Design
Review to Allow for the Siting of
an Electrical Power Substation.
3. The land being considered
for a Major Map Amendment is
approximately 8.15 acres, locat-
ed approximately 1/4 mile south
of the City of Vernonia, on the
west side of Nehalem Highway
South, at 58897 Nehalem High-
way South. It is identified in the
County Assessor’s records as
Tax Lot No. 4408-011-00901.
