Reward upped for deer killed in June
With the help of The Hu-
mane Society of the United
States (HSUS) and The Hu-
mane Society Wildlife Land
Trust, a reward of up to $2500
is offered for information lead-
ing to the arrest and conviction
of the person or persons re-
sponsible for the late June ille-
gal kill and waste of three buck
deer in the Trask Unit near
Tillamook. The HSUS offer is in

addition to an existing reward
of up to $500 from the Oregon
Hunter’s Association.
On Sunday, June 20, the
OSP Tillamook work site re-
ceived information of three
killed deer near milepost 1 on
Fox Creek Road. OSP Fish &
Wildlife troopers responded
and found three freshly killed
buck deer. Head and hide re-
mained but most of meat was
taken.
