Jim Tierney, representing
the Planning Commission pre-

variety of backgrounds and in-
terest areas.
The council concurred with
little discussion, and appointed

rule reads, it is in doubt that
you can hunt any animals other
than bears or cougars. Also
not stated in the new rule is
how you are supposed to prove
that you have a used tag for the
season you are hunting in,
since it must be assumed it will
be on the animal that you have
already harvested as required
by law.
In 2009 the draw deadlines
for controlled hunts were ex-
tended, just like the year prior; I
would expect the same this
year, but don’t count on it. Ap-
ply early, in fact this coming
year, if you apply early you will

ment of a plan.
In other business the council
approved renewal of liquor li-
censes for Cedar Side Tavern,
Sam’s Food Store and the Ver-
nonia Market Place.
Let it be impressed
upon your minds,
let it be instilled
into your children,
that the liberty of
the press is the
palladium of all the
civil, political, and
religious rights.
