All mu- sicians, singers, solo dancers, comedians, magicians, and others who want a chance to be on stage: Let us know who you are. Vernonia Hands-on Art will hold its fifth annual benefit variety show on Saturday, No- vember 7, at 7:00 p.m. This year’s show will again be held at the Vernonia Grange, 375 North Street. Mark your calendars now to save the date. help VHS team The Vernonia High School Girls Basketball team is hold- ing a fundraiser car wash at the Time Gas Station on Hwy. 26 on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, starting at 11:00 a.m. Refresh- ments will also be available. Titus weds Sheets in July 25 ceremony Trisha Dorena Titus and Floyd Casey Sheets were mar- ried July 25, 2009, at Ocean- side. They are making their home in Tekamah, Nebraska. Mrs. Sheets works as a hair stylist in Tekamah, Neb. and Mr. Sheets is an OPPD Welder/fabricator in Omaha, Neb. The bride is the daughter of Donnie and Rena Titus of Ver- nonia and is a 2003 graduate of Vernonia High School. The groom is a 2004 gradu- ate of Tekamah-Herman High School and is the son of Floyd and Anne Sheets of Tekamah, Neb.
