The INDEPENDENT, June 4, 2009 Organic food delivery available Is healthy nutrition important for you? If so, would you like to join a group of Vernonians who are banding together to main- tain the eight-year tradition of Azure Standard organic deliv- eries to our town? A new delivery/drop-off site, at the Vernonia Museum park- ing lot on Bridge Street, is a lit- tle farther than the previous site, so it is necessary to have enough people ordering to guarantee the delivery (enough money in orders). Vernonia resident Carol Sawyer, and the driver, are aiming for a June 11th delivery, if enough people are involved. June 9th is the cutoff date for ordering. If you are interested, but unfamiliar with Azure Stan- dard, you can go online to check out the remarkable vari- ety offered by the company at: www.azurestandard. You can also order a catalog and the bi- monthly sales catalogs. Regular stock includes or- ganic meats, vegetables and fruits from the Dufur area, grains in bulk, oils, and some canned and frozen specialties. Additionally, they carry a com- plete range of supplements, toiletries, cleaning products, farm and gardening supplies, organic seeds, etc. There are also selections for those with lactose intolerance or allergies. For more information, call Carol Sawyer at 503-429-4748. Sign up now for 2009 Bible School Studio GO!
