Below; the beginning of the end for the annex at Old City
Hall. Demolition of the annex took place on April 18. With the
annex removed, the courtyard of the Vernonia Community
Learning Center will be accessble to the public and is for rent
for private use. To reserve the courtyard, or part of the Learn-
ing Center, contact Vernonia City Hall (the new one).
Bottom; this young deer was caught in the act of eating dan-
delions in a Vernonia yard. If only the deer would visit on de-
mand and eat only dandelions, they would always be wel-
come in many yards.
