37, Vernonia, arrested on a Kla-
math County warrant; taken to
CCSO jail.
July 2 – Criminal Mischief at
R&R Motors after vehicle there
was struck by a tire.
– 17 yr-old male runaway locat-
ed in Idaho and returned home.
– Firearm turned in to VPD for

nonia Lake and State of Oregon
flag at City Hall stolen; anyone with
information on thefts or to return

July 6 – Assisted CCSO on an
injury MVA on Keasey Rd.
July 7 – Burglary to modular
classrooms at VMS; nothing miss-
ing.
– Assisted DHS with investiga-
tion on child neglect allegation on
California Ave.; unfounded.
– Telephonic Harassment on A St.
July 9 – Assisted Clackamas
County on a case follow-up on 6th
Ave.
– Reckless Burning and Crimi-
nal Mischief after smoke bombs lit
in a vehicle near Adams Ave. and
Bridge St.
July 11 – Family Disturbance/
Runaway on Madison Ave.; 16 yr
old male returned, situation re-
solved.
– Counterfeit checks received
in the mail and turned in.

lowing the use of Golf Carts,
but after consulting with our
City Attorney, it was deemed
there are legal problems with
the ordinance and it is not vi-
able for the City of Vernonia.
The bottom line is that the
use of Golf Carts on public
streets is PROHIBITED. I will
