nounced that grant applications
are now available for projects
that address priorities identified
in the Columbia County Cultur-

from Clatskanie, Rainier, Scap-

Mathew Workman, Chief of
Police, told council that
Sergeant Mike Kay has now
completed his supervisory
training.
Councilor Shirlee Daughtry
said she was happy with the
way the KUPL concert went,
that there were about 400 fish-
ers and 37 boats. She went on
to say it was a good event and
everyone enjoyed it.
Councilor Brett Costley said
he wanted to thank everyone
who worked on the KUPL
event and reported that he
caught his first ‘keeper’ stur-
geon out of the Columbia River
last week.
Harrison also complimented
all the volunteers who worked
on the KUPL event, specifically
mentioning Kate Conley, Brett
Costley and Mike Kay.
The next council meeting will
be held July 2, starting at 7:00
p.m., at City Hall.
