Columbia County Sheriff’s Office;
DWS, Driving While License is Sus-
pended; MIP, Minor In Possession of In-
toxicants; MVA, Motor Vehicle Acci-
dent; PCS, Possession of Controlled
Substance; ODL, Oregon Driver Li-
cense; FTA, Failure to Appear in Court;
NTSI, National Traffic Safety Institute;
DA, District Attorney; VIP, Victim Im-
pact Panel; FF&A, Fines, Fees and As-
sessments.

not indicate guilt. All persons are
presumed innocent unless found
guilty in a court of law.
July 31 – Theft of numerous
tools, items and a chainsaw from a
vehicle on Spencer Ave.
Aug 2 – Theft of riding lawn-
mower from yard on Mellinger Rd.
Owner later found it for sale on
Craig’s List and worked with Port-
land PD to recover it; Portland PD
arrested Lena Thi Son for Theft I
and Warrants.
Aug 4 – David “Pete” Brewer,
46, Vernonia, cited for Probation
Violation after contact with Vernon-
ia Justice Court.
Aug 5 – Jesse Ray, 23 Vernon-
ia, arrested for Disorderly Conduct
and Detox; taken to CCSO jail.
– Nathan Cornelius, 21, St. He-
lens, arrested on Columbia County
Warrant for Failure to Appear; tak-
en to CCSO jail.
– Car/pedestrian accident by
Bridge & Grant; no injuries.
Aug 6 – John Perry, 19, Sea-
side, arrested for Carrying a Con-
cealed Weapon (brass knuckles)
and MIP; taken to CCSO jail.
– Eric Lawhead, 18, Vernonia,
arrested for Attempt to Elude and
DWS; taken to CCSO jail.
Aug 7 – Gregory Zadrozny, 28
Portland, arrested for Assault. He
then experienced medical prob-
lems and was taken to hospital via
Life Flight, then released and later
arrested in Portland on Felony
Warrants and Probation Violations.
Aug 8 – Release old ammuni-
tion, turned in by citizens, to OSP
Bomb Squad for destruction.
Aug 10 – Criminal Mischief at
Cedar Side after a small window
was broken.
Aug 11 – Theft of a cordless drill
reported at campsite near Ander-
son Park.

Ronald Travis Wallace, 44, Ver-
nonia, completed DUII Diversion;
all charges dismissed.
