Instructor Ann Linquist will in- troduce students to the writing life and cover how to improve writing skills and new ways to stretch your creative muscles. Working with a word pro- cessing program is essential in today’s high tech environment. If you need to start from the be- ginning or just need to update your skills, Portland Communi- ty College will offer an online non-credit Word 2003 class this spring. Word 2003: Level I shows students how to create and modify documents in Word 2003, the most popular word- processing program available. Join instructor Craig Power to learn the basics and quickly be- come proficient. Held entirely online via the Internet, these six-week class- es offer the flexibility to open lessons whenever your sched- ule allows and feature discus- sion boards with the instructor and other students. These classes will be offered May 17 through June 23. Cost is $85. To register, email ddavis@pcc. edu, or visit www.ourcourses cometoyou.com.
