In honor of Thanksgiving Day, Banks Elementary School had fun with a new activity on Mon-
day, November 21. Students got the chance to chase Tom Turkey! This was the first of what
may become an annual event for the school. Each grade lined up for the turkey trot during
their lunch recess. Everyone who ran got a piece of candy for their efforts. Principal Marty
Voge and fifth grade teacher Jonathan Pearson took turns as Tom.
