Jan. 2005 – Four juvenile males
confessed under questioning to
damaging interpretive signs along
Webb Way and at Vernonia Lake;
referred to Juvenile Dept. with rec-
ommendations to have them assist
in rebuilding signs, pay restitution
and perform at least 50 hours com-
munity service.
July 15 – Adams Haynes, 18,
Vernonia, arrested for Assault IV;
taken to CCSO jail.
July 18 – A camera bag was re-
ported stolen from a camper at An-

derson Park; anyone with informa-
tion is asked to call 503-429-7335.
– Possible ID theft reported.
– Telephone harassment report-
ed between two residents.
– Donald Elliott, 49, Vernonia,
arrested on Rose Ave. for Tres-
passing II & Probation Violation;
taken to CCSO jail.
July 20 – Missing juvenile re-
ported; later located and returned
home.
July 21 – Juvenile situation on
Knott St. reported; referred to Child
Welfare.
– Criminal Mischief to play-
ground equipment and city proper-
ty reported; juvenile admitted to
graffiti and arranged to clean it.
July 24 – Furnishing Alcohol
and possibly Drugs to Minors and
Reckless Endangering reported on
Rose Ave.; case under investiga-
tion.
July 28 – Delivery of Controlled
Substance and Endangering Minor
reported.
