Volunteers needed for advisory panels
Last Sunday’s annual Pancake Breakfast, put on by Banks
Volunteer Firefighters, was well-attended and greatly en
joyed. In addition to a great pancake breakfast with smiling
chefs (above right), the free rides in a fire engine (above)
were a hit with children of all ages.
St. Patrick’s Celtic Celebration set
A family St. Patrick’s Day
Celtic Celebration will be held
March 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
at Banks Elementary School,
with entertainment by Rose in
the Heather.
A benefit for the Banks Stu
dent Services department, the

event will include music, song,
dance and food. Tickets, at $5
for adults, $2 for students or
$12 for families, are available
at Banks Elementary School in
advance, or at the door.
