Exhibition called huge success
The first Salmon Festival Ex-
hibition/Show was a huge suc-
cess, reported exhibition chair-
person Janie Wasmann. There
were 176 entries, from 48 peo-
ple. Entries include flowers,
baking, quilts, art work, metal
art, canning, fresh fruit, needle-
work, photography, and a large
assortment of various hand
crafts.
The Judges’ Choice Trophy
was awarded to Gary Paradise
for his colored pencil entry, Bald
Eagle in Flight. The Senior Tro-
phy went to Susan Goodhope
for quilt entries. Gina Cropp re-
ceived the Junior Trophy for a
maple leaf with a watercolor
painting of her horse on it.
Everyone who came to the Ex-
hibition had a chance to vote
for their favorite entry for the
People’s Choice Trophy. Gina
Cropp was also awarded the
People’s Choice Trophy.
