NTSI, National Traffic Safety Institute;
DA, District Attorney; VIP, Victim Im-
pact Panel; FF&A, Fines, Fees and As-
sessments.
May 19 – Male juvenile cited
for MIP Tobacco.
May 22 – Bulldozer belong-
ing to NW Road Builders,
parked at Vernonia Lake be-
tween 5/21 and 5/22, was dam-
aged. Anyone with information
about this incident is requested
to call Vernonia Police at 503-
429-7335.

en, Buxton, warrant arrest fol-
lowing a traffic stop; taken to
CCSO jail.
May 23 – Jolene M. Shaw,
no age given, Vernonia, cited
for Disorderly Conduct and
PCS; taken to CCSO jail.
– Rosetta H. Shaw, no age
given, Portland, cited for Disor-
derly Conduct after disturbance
at Vernonia Lake; taken to
CCSO jail.
– Took theft report from Taxi
driver who transported passen-
ger from Cornelius to Vernonia.
Passenger left without paying;
under investigation.
May 25 – Took report of
Unauthorized Use of a Motor
Vehicle. On 5/26, Portland PD
recovered the vehicle; owner
was notified.
May 26 – Investigating Crim-
inal Mischief complaint at a
Mist Dr. residence.
May 27 – theft report taken;
under investigation.

May 5 – Keasey Rd. resident
reported theft of tires and

May 7 – Kathryn I. Birken-
feld, 55, no address given, in-
volved in a single vehicle crash
on Scappoose-Vernonia Hwy,
1.3 miles from Hwy 47; trans-
ported by Metro West Ambu-
lance to Emanuel Hospital.
May 13 – Death investiga-
tion on Adams Road; appeared
to be natural causes.
May 25 – Nehalem Hwy S
resident reported someone
had spray patinted obscenities
on his property overlooking the
Hwy.
