Last year’s Art in the Park,
organized and sponsored by
Vernonia Hands On Art, was
well-attended and greatly en
joyed by people of all ages.
This year, Hands On Art, with
the assistance of local Scout
Troops, promises to make the
event even more fun.
Summer Art in the Park 2003
will be on Saturday, August 23,
from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.in
Hawkins Park.
There will be activities and
events for all ages, with a
schedule that includes Learn to
Paint, Make a Musical Instru
ment, Picture Your Future (col-
strongly advised.
